The First Nations House of Learning, in partnership with the UBC Career Centre, hosts an annual career fair at the Longhouse for Indigenous students and pending graduates, where they can meet prospective employers seeking to engage with them.

Employers representing a variety of sectors offer insights into summer internship openings, career opportunities, and shed light on their workplace cultures.

Adding Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) experiences to your undergraduate or graduate degree is a valuable way to explore career opportunities, develop professional skills, and apply your learning in professional settings. And students who graduate with work experience tend to have higher starting salaries than their peers without, and are more likely to find jobs in their chosen fields.
