The Longhouse has various spaces available for use by the University’s First Nations, Métis, and Inuit community (i.e., Indigenous students, staff, and faculty), subject to availability.

Please note the following spaces are not available for rent.

Sty-Wet-Tan Great Hall
This space is the true hub of the Longhouse and is used for graduation events, community meals, workshops, lectures, large meetings, and more.

šxʷta:təχʷəm student space
This dedicated student space includes a lounge, kitchenette, media room, private bathroom, and ground-level patio.

Multipurpose Room
This versatile space is used for small to mid-sized meetings, workshops, talks, and more.

Elders Lounge
This space is used for visiting Elders to sit and relax, and when unoccupied serves as a reading room.

Study Space
This space is used for individual and group studying. It has four computer stations, a printer, and a small kitchenette.

Quiet Study Space
This space offers plugins at each table and is used for quiet studying.
