UBC Counselling Services

As an Indigenous student you can choose to seek professional and culturally relevant counselling support from an Indigenous counsellor as part of the Indigenous Mental Health and Wellness program or support from other counsellors at UBC Counselling Services. Either way, if you’re feeling persistently stressed, anxious, or sad, you are encouraged to contact UBC Counselling Services.

Health & Wellbeing

A healthy mind, body, and spirit are foundations for students to achieve their personal and academic goals.

UBC provides a number of resources to help maintain your physical health and wellbeing. Check out the Student Services site for information on everything you need to get started in the right direction. There you will find, among other things, information on the Wellness Centre, where you can chat with a trained student about health-related questions, managing stress, studying, or navigating life as a student. You will also find information on how to access a doctor or, if necessary, a Sexual Violence Response Specialist.
